As I listen across multiple systems, it is necessary to use eq to get consistent sound. Other reviews here have mentioned the lack of repeat functionality, but I want to point out the big need for improvements in the equalizer. However, there are a few features that don’t quite fit the high standard that the product sets in most ways. I settled on Plex and the Plexamp app as my choice and have found it to be great, far better than GPM was in terms of visual UI and sound quality. When it closed up shop last year, I spent a long time researching my options for a replacement. I was in love with Google Play Music for years and it was central to my daily life as a way to listen to my music collection across all my devices and on the go. Don't show the web app in the cast dialog as it can no longer be cast to. Disable edit action on radios and other non-playlist items in Recent Plays.

When player name changes, make sure to update the device registration. Improvements for h/w volume tracking when playing remotely. Tapping multiple times on mini-player album art would lead to duplicate album screens. Radios in Recent Play items didn't have colorful icons. In some cases, images loading failures during pre-caching would not be detected. Don't upscale images when requesting from server. Show mini-controls in cast dialog even for currently selected player. Potentially fix a bug where audio won't resume after connecting to CarPlay. iPad: Extra left padding with carousels in some cases. Make player buttons a bit more visible in light theme.
